In this competitive session we encourage your players to play fast, make good decisions and try to keep turnovers to a minimum by choosing the low risk passing option. To do this we've chosen some fast-paced game speed shooting exercises which force your players to catch the ball ready to shoot the ball at speed!
What's in the session?
There's no standing around this week - we kick off with some defensive conditioning warm ups which emphasise the ready position (so that every player is ready to shoot, pass or dribble when they catch the ball).
Now that everyone's warmed up we use continuous small-sided games to get your players focusing on the speed of play - plus this way there's nobody waiting on the sideline longer than a few seconds!
Use this week's session if you want to give your team a workout and get them playing at pace!
